Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is an added

• Assessment and Diagnosis

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ communication and swallowing disorders using a range of standardized and informal tools. Accurately diagnose speech and language difficulties.

• Individualized Therapy Planning

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals and evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s needs.

• Direct Therapy and Intervention

Provide therapy sessions both individually and in small groups, using appropriate and engaging techniques to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication skills.

• Collaboration and Consultation

Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ communication development. Offer guidance and strategies to support learning both in school and at home.

• Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, therapy sessions, and parent communication. Prepare detailed reports and ensure compliance with school and regulatory requirements.

• Professional Development and Program Support

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices. Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote communication and language development.
