Job Description Department: Sales & Marketing Division: Transformer Designation: Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing Location: Jaipur About the Company Mangal Electrical Industries Limited (MEIL) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified power sector company with over five decades of experience. It manufactures power and distribution transformers up to 20 MVA, 33/11 kV, IDTs up to 17.6 MVA, and delivers EPC solutions for 220 kV and 400 kV substations, with expansion underway for 132 kV and 220 kV transformer manufacturing. Role Purpose The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing (Transformer) will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, supporting tendering activities, and ensuring effective execution of transformer sales orders while contributing to market development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Execute sales and marketing strategies for transformer products Manage assigned customer accounts and develop new business opportunities Handle customer enquiries, negotiations, and order finalization Prepare and review techno-commercial quotations and proposals Support and manage tender participation , bid submissions, and follow-ups Coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Finance teams for order execution Monitor order book, dispatch schedules, and collections Conduct market analysis and track competitor activities Participate in customer visits, meetings, and business development initiatives Prepare and present sales MIS, forecasts, and performance reports Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and credit terms
Strong understanding of transformer products and B2B sales processes Good negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills Experience in handling utilities, EPC, and industrial customers Analytical, target-driven, and customer-focused approach Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools Willingness to travel as per business requirements
Education: BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred) MBA in Marketing preferred Experience: 6–10 years of experience in sales and marketing , preferably in transformer or electrical equipment industry Why Join Us?
