# Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor (BAMS) with hands-on industry experience in classical Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing and Panchakarma practice.
The role requires a professional who understands both:
Clinical Ayurveda (patient care & Panchakarma)
Pharmaceutical Ayurveda (manufacturing of classical formulations)
The candidate will play an important role in supervising Ayurvedic medicine production, guiding formulation processes, ensuring classical authenticity, and supporting product development initiatives.
# Key Responsibilities
Supervision of Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturing
Supervise the preparation and processing of classical Ayurvedic formulations such as:
Tailams (medicated oils)
Ghritams (medicated ghee)
Kwath / Kashayam (decoctions)
Churnas (herbal powders)
Avaleh / Lehyams
Classical proprietary Ayurvedic medicines
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring adherence to classical Ayurvedic texts
Supervising processing methods and batch preparation
Guiding production teams on correct procedures
Maintaining authenticity of traditional formulations
# R&D and Formulation Guidance
Work with the R&D team to:
Develop Ayurvedic formulations for clients
Modify classical formulations for modern formats
Validate ingredient compatibility and dosage principles
Assist in preparation of formulation documentation
# Panchakarma & Clinical Practice
Where required, the doctor may:
Attend to patients for Ayurvedic consultation
Recommend treatment protocols
Guide Panchakarma therapy procedures
Prescribe classical Ayurvedic medicines
# Quality & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that all formulations and production processes comply with:
AYUSH guidelines
GMP standards
Classical Ayurvedic texts
Support the QA/QC team in:
Formula validation
Ingredient authenticity
Batch documentation
# Knowledge Support & Training
Provide Ayurvedic knowledge support to internal teams.
Examples:
Training staff on classical formulations
Supporting sales teams with product knowledge
Assisting marketing teams with Ayurvedic insights
# Desired Candidate Profile
Education
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) – Mandatory
Experience
3–7 years experience preferred
Industry exposure preferred in:
Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing
Ayurvedic pharmaceutical companies
Panchakarma centers
Ayurvedic hospitals or clinics

Classical Ayurvedic texts
Tailam and Ghrita preparation methods
Panchakarma procedures
Dosha-based diagnosis and treatment

Patient consultation capability
Good communication in Hindi and English
