# The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Ayurvedic Production Chemist with strong classical formulation experience. This role is ideal for someone who understands Bhaishajya Kalpana practically , not just theoretically.

The candidate must be comfortable executing and supervising a wide range of classical Ayurvedic pharmaceutical preparations.

# Mandatory Expertise

The candidate should have exposure to multiple classical Ayurvedic dosage forms , including:

Sneha Kalpana

Taila (Medicated oils)

Ghrita (Medicated ghee)

Sandhana Kalpana

Asava

Arishta

Churna Kalpana

Herbal powder preparations

Avaleha Kalpana

Lehyam / Avaleha preparations

Vati / Gutika Kalpana

Tablet / pill manufacturing

Pishti Preparations

Decoctions & Concentrates

Kwath / Kashaya

Rasakriya

Experience across multiple preparations is strongly preferred .

# Key Responsibilities

# Classical Batch Manufacturing

Execute production batches as per classical formulations and SOPs

Understand critical process stages such as:

Sneha paka

Fermentation cycles

Decoction reduction

Concentration stages

# Raw Material Preparation

Sorting, cleaning, drying, and preprocessing herbs

Ensuring correct cut size and quality standards

# Documentation & GMP Compliance

Maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)

Maintain batch traceability and yield documentation

Ensure hygiene and line clearance protocols

# Process Monitoring

Monitor critical production parameters for:

Sneha Kalpana

Sandhana (fermentation) processes

Churna milling and blending

# Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with QA/QC teams for batch release

Support audit readiness and documentation control

Assist in deviation reporting and CAPA implementation

Qualification:

B.Pharm (Ayurved) – Preferred

M.Pharm (Ayurved ) – Strong advantage
