Are you an engineer with a sharp business mind and a relentless drive to build? REConnect Energy is looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager to serve as a foundational pillar of our international expansion. This is a multi-disciplinary role designed for an agile "jack-of-all-trades" professional who thrives on autonomy, speed, and ownership. You won’t just be following a script; you will be helping to build our international playbook from scratch. Straddling the worlds of technical engineering, B2B sales, global market strategy, and hands-on bid management, you will work directly with leadership to scale our AI-powered Energy & Climate Tech solutions across international borders. Core Responsibilities International Market Intelligence: Act as our internal radar. Conduct deep-dive market research into global power grids, regulatory shifts, and competitor landscapes to map out high-yield international entry strategies. Full-Stack Business Development: Support and execute the international sales pipeline. Identify, target, and pitch to global utilities, Grid Operators, TRANSCOs, and DISCOMs to launch pilots and secure commercial deals. End-to-End Bid Management: Own the tendering ecosystem. Decode complex technical specifications, validate engineering requirements, map our core capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to write winning proposals. Global Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with international energy executives, regulatory bodies, and local channel partners, converting technical jargon into clear business value. Account Operations & CRM Management: Move seamlessly from sales to execution. Manage client accounts, maintain CRM workflows, track project delivery timelines, and find opportunities to upsell new technical capabilities. What We Are Looking For Education & Experience The Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) areas to comfortably understand our core tech stack and other advanced technologies. The Business Edge: An MBA is desirable but not mandatory. Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience in business development, technical sales, tendering, or project management—ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or SaaS tech space. The Wildcard: Exceptional candidates, outside the above-mentioned education and/or experience criteria, who are willing to contribute as growth hackers or sales champions in a deep-tech or enterprise B2B sales are highly encouraged to apply.
