Greytip
Position Purpose Greytip Software is India’s largest cloud HR & Payroll software solutions company. With a customer base of over 30000 customers we touch the lives of 3 Mn + employees daily. Our mission is to improve people-centric practices and performance in SMEs (Small and Medium enterprises) through our cloud solution, greytHR . Role objective As we prepare our organization to adapt and leverage the rapid changes AI is bringing in, we are looking for a dynamic individual who will help oversee the internal AI strategy, its implementation and will enable us to build an organization that can continually evolve and incorporate the advantages that AI can bring to our people and process. The key objective will be to build and run greytHR’s AI Transformation Office to drive measurable improvements in internal productivity, cycle time, quality, and operational effectiveness using AI and automation—while ensuring reuse, governance, and strong leader accountability. This is a transformation operator role: you will set up the operating system (cadence, portfolio, stage-gates, scorecards, enablement) that makes AI adoption real across the company. Key responsibilities A. Build the AITO operating model Define the AITO charter, scope boundaries, and ways of working. Establish a lightweight governance model with Security/IT and functional leaders. Create a champions network (one AI Champion per function/LoB) with clear responsibilities and time allocation. B. Own the AI initiative portfolio (end-to-end) Set up an initiative intake + prioritization mechanism (ROI × feasibility × reuse × risk). Maintain the single source of truth initiative register (stages, owners, baselines, targets, adoption, risk). Drive a stage-gate pipeline: Discovery → Pilot → Scale → Retire , with clear criteria. C. Drive execution cadence & leader accountability Run weekly triage and unblock sessions with champions. Run biweekly leader reviews to ensure progress and remove blockers. Run monthly CEO AI Council readout (1-page: wins, value delivered, blockers, laggards, decisions needed). Publish transparent performance views (leader scorecards, top wins, laggards) in a constructive manner. D. Enable teams: reuse, standards, and playbooks Build and maintain internal playbooks and reusable patterns: Internal knowledge assistants (RAG), summarization, drafting copilots with guardrails Workflow automation (approvals, routing, CRM hygiene, reporting automation) Evaluation templates (accuracy, quality, safety, adoption) Prevent duplicate builds: create a reuse library and reference architectures. Partner with IT/Security on tool approvals and safe usage guidelines. E. Benefits realization & measurement discipline Ensure every initiative has a baseline, instrumentation, and clear target metric. Validate benefits claims with function owners; track value realized over time (not one-time). Build simple cost-to-value tracking (tool spend, engineering effort, support burden vs benefits). F. Team building Hire and manage a lean core team (PM + Solutions/Automation lead(s)), leveraging federated delivery via champions. Required experience & capabilities MBA from a reputed institution 10–18 years experience in transformation / business operations / strategy & ops / operational excellence / intelligent automation , ideally in a tech or ops-heavy environment. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional change without direct authority . Track record of delivering measurable outcomes: productivity, cycle time, quality, cost-to-serve, automation adoption. Strong program leadership: portfolio management, stage-gates, reviews, stakeholder alignment. Applied understanding of AI/automation patterns (LLMs, RAG, workflow automation, evaluation, monitoring). Strong comfort with governance: security/data awareness, auditability mindset. Strong stakeholder management; can hold senior leaders accountable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
