Product Management Specialist - SAP FICO

Deloitte is seeking a Product Management Specialist to support Core Finance applications with a primary focus on SAP Record to Report processes. This role works across business and technology teams to help deliver stable, scalable, and efficient SAP Finance solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on SAP FICO experience, strong understanding of finance operations, and the ability to support both ongoing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work you'll do

As a Product Management Specialist on the SAP Finance team, you will be responsible for:

Supporting SAP Record to Report processes across Deloitte Core Finance applications, with a focus on SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities

Analyzing business requirements and supporting functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities

Supporting core finance activities including General Ledger, close processes, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, allocations, settlements, and profitability analysis

Managing integration points between SAP FI/CO and connected systems such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Human Resources/payroll, banking, tax, and external finance applications

Driving operational improvements through incident resolution, root-cause analysis, documentation, batch job support, controls, and adoption of new SAP Finance capabilities

The team

Our SAP Finance team supports core finance applications that enable consistency, control, and operational efficiency across Deloitte’s finance environment. The team partners with business stakeholders, technology teams, and internal support functions to maintain critical Record to Report processes and deliver scalable SAP solutions. This is a collaborative environment where process standardization, service quality, and continuous improvement are central to success.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or a related discipline

6–8 years of SAP FICO functional experience supporting Record to Report processes

Experience configuring SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) based on business requirements

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and New General Ledger capabilities, including Parallel Ledger, parallel currencies, document splitting, and intercompany settings

Experience with FI-CO integration, including cost elements, cost centers, activity types, profit centers, internal orders, allocations, and settlements

Experience supporting at least one end-to-end SAP FI or SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation, rollout, or major enhancement

Experience supporting testing, defect analysis, transport coordination, deployment, and production support activities

Preferred:

Experience with Controlling-Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and its integration with FI and CO processes

Experience supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in a shared-services or global finance environment

Experience supporting integration between SAP FI/CO and MM, SD, Human Resources/payroll, banking, tax, or external finance systems

Experience with interfaces, data mapping, data conversion, reconciliation, and related documentation

Experience creating functional specifications, configuration documentation, knowledge articles, or end-user training materials

Experience supporting adoption of new SAP Finance capabilities, including artificial intelligence-enabled features
