Odoo Techno - Functional Consultant

Job Title:Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Odoo ERP platform and proven team management skills. The role involves leading implementation projects, managing a team of consultants and developers, and ensuring successful delivery of ERP solutions aligned with business needs.

Functional Responsibilities:

Lead requirement gathering sessions with clients and stakeholders

Analyze business processes and provide optimized ERP solutions

Configure and implement Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, CRM)

Prepare BRD, FRD and process documentation

Drive UAT, training sessions, and end-user adoption

Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities

Technical Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technical team for customization and development

Review technical designs and ensure best practices in development

Oversee integrations with third-party systems (APIs, payment gateways, etc.)

Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues

Ensure quality delivery, testing, and deployment

Lead and manage a team of functional consultants and developers

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects

Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and mentoring

Provide technical and functional guidance to team members

Ensure knowledge sharing and team capability development

Act as the escalation point for critical project issues

Functional Skills:

Strong understanding of ERP lifecycle and business processes

Experience in multiple Odoo module implementations

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Good knowledge of Python, Odoo framework, and PostgreSQL

Understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture

Familiarity with Odoo.sh and deployment processes

Proven experience in team handling and project delivery

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

MBA or ERP certification preferred

Odoo certification is an added advantage
