Specialist Deputy Manager, Transformation and Optimization - Data Strategist - Hyderabad

The incumbent will work with Enterprise Operations Xcellence Transformation and Optimization (ETO) team’s Data & Analytics function, helping build and run a central data & analytics platform that serves all EOX teams with trusted data, models, and reporting. The role frames problems, builds and runs scenario and trade-off analyses, designs data models and reporting frameworks, and develops clear, well-supported recommendations for stakeholders and leadership — while also stewarding the underlying data (architecture, cataloging, standards, and quality) so the platform remains a reliable, reusable asset rather than a one-off deliverable.

This role is highly hands-on, working directly with data and stakeholders to produce rigorous, credible analysis, and partners closely with the Data & Analytics Associate Director on recommendations that inform cross-functional decisions.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist Deputy Manager, Analytics and Insights on the Enterprise Operations Xcellence (EOX) team, you will be responsible for:

Framing ambiguous business problems into structured questions, hypotheses, and decision frameworks that can be analyzed and acted on.

Building scenario, optimization, and trade-off analyses; developing data models and reporting frameworks; and producing repeatable reporting for EOX teams.

Partnering with data engineering to shape the architecture, pipelines, and structure of the central data and analytics platform.

Governing data quality, cataloging, lineage, definitions, metric standards, and schema standards to support a consistent source of truth.

Working with stakeholders and leaders across EOX process areas to prioritize analytics demand, build self-service reporting solutions, and develop executive-ready recommendations.

The team

Enterprise Operations Xcellence (EOX) focuses on improving operational effectiveness, driving transformation execution, and enabling scalable, consistent, and high-quality outcomes across the organization. The team works across process areas to strengthen governance, improve delivery discipline, and embed more efficient ways of working, including AI-enabled support for reporting, risk visibility, action management, communications, training, and adoption.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in business, data and analytics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field

8+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, strategy, or another analytical role

Experience building scenario models, optimization analyses, or trade-off analyses for business decision-making

Experience designing data models and reporting frameworks for repeatable analysis and reporting

Experience using SQL and Python for analysis

Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks and version control tools such as Git

Preferred:

Master’s degree in business, data and analytics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field

Experience partnering with data engineering teams on data architecture and pipelines

Experience with data cataloging or governance tools such as Unity Catalog, Purview, or Collibra

Experience defining metric standards, schema standards, or key performance indicator governance

Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools such as natural-language-to-SQL or generative AI-assisted analysis

Experience building self-service dashboards, templates, or internal analytics products
