Software Specialist Engineer II-Data Modeler- Hyderabad

As a Data Modeler - Assistant Manager on the Member Firm team, you will be responsible for...

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Partner with business analysts, data architects, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models.

Lead data modelling activities across data warehouse, data lake, and master data management initiatives.

Perform data profiling, validation, and documentation to support data quality, consistency, and integrity.

Support data migration, integration, and transformation activities across multiple platforms and technologies.

The team

This Team supports enterprise data and analytics capabilities that enable reporting, insights, and decision-making across the organization. The team works across data modelling, engineering, governance, and integration to build scalable and reliable data solutions. Team members collaborate closely with business, architecture, and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality data assets aligned with business needs.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 06.30 AM to 03.30 PM

Required:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

6+ years of experience in data modelling in enterprise environments

Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and master data management implementations

Experience using data modelling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or PowerDesigner

Experience with relational modelling, dimensional modelling, and NoSQL data architectures

Experience performing data profiling, data analysis, and data validation

Preferred:

Certifications in data modelling, data management, or comparable technologies such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Data Management Association (DAMA)

Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery

Experience working in agile delivery environments

Experience supporting DevOps practices for data engineering

Experience with data governance and data privacy frameworks

Experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot in project delivery
