AWS Account Management, Cost Optimization & Security

Own and administer the company's AWS environment.

Drive continuous cost optimization

Implement and maintain security baselines: IAM and least-privilege access, MFA and root-account protection, encryption and key management, CloudTrail logging, and regular configuration and vulnerability reviews

Set up and maintain consolidated billing, budgets, alerts and regular cost/security reporting for leadership

Tender Evaluation & Infrastructure Sizing (Cloud and On-Prem)

Read and interpret tender documents, RFPs, scope-of-work specifications and create infrastructure designs and Bills of Material

Support sizing of compute, memory, storage, databases, load balancers and network for cloud and on-prem deployments

Produce the supporting bid artefacts such as IT architecture documents, network diagrams, component specifications and compliance responses (e.g., ISO 27001/22301, MeitY guidelines, etc.)

On-Premise Hardware Deployment & Operations

Plan and manage the deployment of on-prem hardware with the help of OEMs and vendors including procurement coordination, installation, configuration and commissioning

Manage on-prem resources ensuring systems meet uptime and performance SLAs

Handle OS provisioning and patching (primarily Enterprise Linux/RHEL), backups, monitoring, firewalls and access management across on-prem environments

Coordinate with vendors and partners across the deployment lifecycle, track SLAs, and act as the single point of accountability for infrastructure

Active AWS certification — AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.

Strong working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EBS/storage, load balancing, backup/DR) and of AWS cost-management and security tooling.

Solid networking fundamentals: subnetting/CIDR, firewalls, load balancers, VPN/connectivity, bandwidth and throughput planning, and DC–DR replication.

Hands-on Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/SUSE) and familiarity with databases, backups, monitoring and patch management.

Experience deploying and operating on-prem hardware

Organized, detail-oriented and accountable, with strong written documentation skills and the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external vendors.

Hybrid and multi-cloud exposure (Azure/GCP) and basic scripting/automation (e.g., shell, Python) or infrastructure-as-code.
