A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that products or applications meet client requirements and are free of bugs before launch.
Reviewing requirements: Analyze specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback Creating test plans: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Executing tests: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality Bug tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs Regression testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and troubleshoot issues
Technical proficiency: Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG. Good Knowledge on Manual & Automation Knowledge. API testing: Familiarity with tools like Postman & Swagger. Bug tracking tools: Knowledge of TFS, GitHub. Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile Scrum processes . Analytical skills: Strong analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills .
