Job Title: Estimation & Costing Engineer – Electrical Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Experience: 2–3 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering No. of Positions: 2 Salary: ₹4–5 LPA Job Summary We are looking for an Electrical Estimation & Costing Engineer responsible for preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, costing, and technical proposals for electrical projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects. Prepare BOQs covering electrical materials, cables, switchgear, lighting, and allied items. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Calculate material, labour, equipment, and installation costs. Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers. Maintain updated material and market pricing information. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders. Coordinate with project and business development teams. Support pre-bid meetings and site visits. Track actual project costs against estimated costs. Requirements B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation and costing. Good knowledge of electrical materials and systems. Experience in BOQ/BOM preparation and pricing. Knowledge of electrical drawings and specifications. Good understanding of Bangalore electrical market/vendor pricing is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills.
