Senior Engineer – Transmission (HVAC Projects) Department: Design and Technical Reporting To: Project Manager/ Deputy Manager Location: Karnataka (Project Site – Deputation Basis) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Senior Engineer – Transmission will be responsible for execution, supervision, and coordination of High Voltage AC (HVAC) Transmission Line projects across Karnataka. The role requires strong technical expertise in EHV transmission systems and site execution capabilities. Key Responsibilities Execution of planned activities, considering the project timeline and scheduling the supervision of EHV transmission line works (132kV / 220kV / 400kV & above) Manage tower foundation, erection, stringing, and commissioning activities Ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams Timely reporting the site progress and prepare MIS/DPR reports Ensure quality control and compliance with statutory norms Optimize manpower and material utilization at site Qualification & Experience Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Transmission specialization preferred) 6–10 years of relevant experience in EHV/HVAC transmission projects Experience in TBCB/BOOT projects will be an added advantage Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of IS/IEC transmission standards Familiarity with route survey, profiling and transmission line design basics Understanding of safety regulations in high voltage environments Proficiency in project documentation and reporting Behavioral Competencies Leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving ability Effective communication and coordination skills Ability to work under challenging site conditions
