Test Analyst (SDET) - API Automation

Key Responsibilities • Analyse requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data. • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing. • Perform UI, API, and database validation to ensure application quality. • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript. • Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or equivalent tools. • Write SQL queries to validate backend data, transformations, and business rules. • Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams. • Support test planning, estimation, risk assessment, and release sign-off. • Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
