Job Title : Sr. Java Developer

Reporting to: Tech Lead

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Base location Chennai/ Delhi - Remote (working from co-working office a few days each month)

Overview and purpose of the role :

The Developer will be responsible for developing and designing, backend development and ensuring the responsiveness of applications. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and comfortable agile methodology for development. Have exposure to DevOps and Test Driven Development .

Design client-side and server-side architecture

Write effective APIs

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Write technical documentation

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Developer or similar role

Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

Familiarity with common stacks

Extensive Knowledge of Java along with Spring Boot Framework, JPA

Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks. Preferrable VueJs . Angular, React experience will also be considered.

Extensive experience on automated testing using Junit, RestAssured and Cypress

Familiarity with TDD, feature file creation and conversion to test cases

Familiarity with databases (Postgres SQL), web servers and UI/UX design

Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries ( e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

Familiarity with Jasper

Experience of working in DevOps and Agile environment . Preferably conversant with Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence

Excellent communication, teamwork skills and attention to detail

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
