Preproduction Engineer

Interior Designer - Preproduction Experience: 1-3 years Location: Hoskote, Bangalore Job Overview: We are seeking an Interior Designer for our preproduction team specializing in modular kitchens and wardrobes. The role involves creating functional designs, preparing production-ready drawings, and coordinating with fabrication and installation teams. Key Responsibilities: Design customized modular kitchen and wardrobe layouts based on client requirements Prepare 2D/3D drawings, cut lists, and fabrication details Create Bill of Materials (BOM) with accurate material and hardware specifications Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams Select appropriate materials, profiles, finishes, and accessories Conduct site measurements and supervise installations Ensure designs meet quality standards, feasibility, and timelines Support prototype development and pre-production activities Requirements Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD software Understanding of modular kitchen/wardrobe construction and fabrication processes Knowledge of materials, hardware, and finishing standards Strong visualization, technical drawing, and space planning abilities Good communication and coordination skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple projects
