As a Workday Finance Senior Associate you will focus on providing consulting services for Workday finance applications, analyzing client requirements, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for seamless integration and use within our business application consulting practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while deepening your technical skills and understanding of the broader business context. In this role at PwC, you will support clients in improving financial processes and reporting, using critical thinking, professional judgment, and familiarity with Workday Finance to deliver dependable work across engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing client finance requirements and translating them into Workday configuration approaches
  • Implementing Workday Financials solutions that support financial processes, reporting, and transaction handling
  • Reviewing design documents, process flows, and configuration choices for alignment with client objectives
  • Supporting testing cycles by preparing scenarios, validating results, and documenting issues and resolutions
  • Developing Workday finance deliverables for assigned workstreams within broader client service engagements
  • Interpreting financial accounting and reporting needs to inform system setup and process improvement recommendations
  • Coordinating issue tracking, status updates, and dependencies across implementation activities
  • Building client relationships through responsive communication, clear follow-up, and thoughtful problem solving
  • Mentoring junior team members by reviewing assigned tasks and sharing Workday finance knowledge
  • Applying consulting methods and technical tools to address complex finance transformation challenges

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • At least one of the following: One or more Workday certifications in Financial Management, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Expenses, or related finance platform credentials
  • Demonstrating Workday Financials configuration and support experience
  • Analyzing finance process needs and translating them into solutions
  • Applying Accounting Center, Revenue Management, or Expenses knowledge
  • Interpreting client feedback and refining deliverables accordingly
  • Mentoring junior team members through complex client work
  • Navigating ambiguity while building client relationships
