Preferred Background: Product Company (SaaS / ERP / CRM / HRMS / LMS / FSM) Role Summary We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to take ownership of critical enterprise applications and contribute to architecture, development, deployment, API design, and technical decision-making. The candidate should be capable of understanding complex existing systems, guiding developers, reviewing code, resolving production issues, and delivering scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Understand and own existing product architecture and codebase. • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and APIs. • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions. • Review code and ensure adherence to engineering standards. • Drive application performance, security, maintainability, and scalability. • Work closely with Product Managers, QA, Support, and Leadership teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues. • Manage technical debt and modernization initiatives. • Create and maintain technical documentation. • Mentor developers and share technical knowledge. • Ensure timely delivery of roadmap items and customer commitments. • Contribute to engineering process improvements and best practices. • Support customer deployments and production releases. • Reduce dependency on individuals through documentation and knowledge sharing. Candidate Rejection Criteria • No ASP.NET Core experience. • Weak SQL optimization knowledge. • No API development experience. • No production support experience. • No architecture/design exposure. • Unable to explain dependency injection or SOLID principles. • No experience with AI-assisted development tools. • Service-company-only experience without ownership of a product codebase may be given lower preference.
