Job Description: Assistant Manager / Manager – Planning (Highways & Expressways) Location: Sanoor Karnataka Department: Project Planning & Control Reporting To: Project Manager / Planning Head Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer / Planning Manager with strong exposure to National Highway and Expressway projects executed under EPC, HAM, and BOT models. The role involves project scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, coordination with execution teams, and ensuring timely project delivery in line with contractual milestones. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project. • Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, catch-up and recovery schedules. • Monitor physical progress vs baseline and analyze critical path delays. • Coordinate with QS, execution, procurement, and subcontractor teams. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. • Track milestone achievements and client/consultant certifications. • Support delay analysis, EOT claims, and schedule impact assessments. • Assist in material planning and equipment deployment. • Participate in progress review meetings with NHAI/IC/Consultants. • Mentor junior planning engineers. Project Exposure • National Highways & Expressways • EPC, HAM, BOT (DBFOT & O&M) • Earthworks, pavement layers, and structures Required Qualifications • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering • 7 - 8 years of highway/expressway planning experience Technical Skills • Primavera P6 / MS Project • MS Excel & Reporting • AutoCAD (basic) • SAP (preferred) Key Competencies • Strong analytical and scheduling skills • Excellent coordination and communication • Proactive problem-solving • Leadership abilities
