Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Partner with regional sales teams to understand customer requirements, business drivers, and project objectives.
Review and interpret customer enquiries, specifications, datasheets, and RFQs to develop optimal solutions.
Prepare professional technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and third-party suppliers to obtain technical inputs and pricing information.
Evaluate vendor quotations and support supplier selection to achieve cost effective and competitive proposals.
Develop a strong understanding of Emerson products, systems, and application solutions to support proposal development.
Ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, customer specifications, and commercial requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and competitiveness.
Maintain proposal documentation and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Emerson's trade compliance, ethics, and corporate governance requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
Experience in proposal engineering, application engineering, project engineering, or process instrumentation domains
Knowledge of flow measurement, metering systems, analyzers, instrumentation, or related automation solutions
Understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and technical specifications
Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, RFQs, and customer specifications.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Liquid Hydrocarbon Custody Transfer, Fiscal Metering Systems, Process Measurement, or related industries
Familiarity with installation, commissioning, calibration, and field instrumentation practices.
Prior experience working with global customers and cross-functional teams.
Exposure to ERP, CRM, or proposal management tools.
