At a Glance:

The Benefits Coordinator acts as the first point of contact within the Total Rewards HR Shared Services for issues and requests from prospective, current and former employees and managers. Responsible for responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies. Maintains information systems, prepares appropriate documentation, and processes paperwork. Helps to resolve matters pertaining to Total Rewards programs.

What you will do:

First point of person-to-person contact to answer questions about employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance disability, spending accounts and retirement plans), processes, and tools.

Provides a positive employee experience while addressing in-scope inquiries, issues and requests; escalates to appropriate tier or third-party providers as needed, following up to ensure customer needs are efficiently and effectively addressed.

Process vendor invoices by reviewing for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, coordinating approvals, and supporting timely payment.

Serve as a trusted resource for employees questions related to benefits enrollment, eligibility, and life events.

Processes administrative tasks and data transactions that are related to Total Rewards programs including appropriate documentation for enrollment.

Provide first point contact with open enrollment activities including user acceptance testing in Workday.

Responsible for the timely resolution of employee issues and HR system transactions.

Support leader and employee self-service processes in Workday (HRIS) by providing real time support.

Utilizes standard tools and inquiry handling process to accurately and completely document issues and resolutions (ServiceNow, FAQs, etc.).

Works to achieve established serviced level metrics and goals.

Occasional project work as assigned.

Adheres to predetermined schedules and work standards.

What you need:

2+ years of related experience required

Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to perform basic tasks

Possesses good written and oral communication skills and a professional demeanor

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to work independently

Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills

Strong attention to detail

Not a must, but a plus

Knowledge of Workday preferred

Previous experience utilizing HR Information Systems preferred

Previous experience utilizing knowledge and case management systems preferred.

Previous benefits experience preferred
