Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore Manyata Tech Park

Business & Team: The Technology division delivers the group’s information technology and banking operation functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Group Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, loss, and risk events through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

The Data Security Crew, a part of the wider Cyber Security team, is responsible for the security and safety of data across the organisation. The Crew builds, owns and operates multiple data security related services including both SaaS and inhouse developed systems.

Impact & Contribution:

We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building AI-powered, agent-driven systems following an agentic engineering approach.

You’ll be part of a team building secure, resilient solutions to ensure the security of data across the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expert-level software engineering skills with proven ability to architect and deliver complex systems at scale. Have solid experience in the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices and DevSecOps

Design, build and operate scalable full-stack applications using Python backend and modern TypeScript frontend frameworks

Develop AI/agent workflows including tool orchestration, context handling and system integration

Build and integrate APIs with enterprise systems and external services

Ensure high-quality engineering through unit, integration and end-to-end testing practices

Contribute to and evolve development standards, best practices, and reusable components

Lead CI/CD implementation and manage release pipelines for reliable deployments

Implement observability, monitoring and alerting for production systems

Troubleshoot performance, reliability and integration issues across distributed systems

Essential skills:

Minimum 10-14 Years of Experience in Full stack development: Strong expertise in Python and React.js (Mandatory)

Experience building scalable, high-performance and secure APIs

Extensive experience in developing and deploying solutions on Cloud platforms such as AWS .

Well versed in Secure Coding Practices.

Good Communication and Presentation Skills

Utilize AI technology to enhance software and platform engineering.

Develop and work with AI agents to automate and accelerate engineering tasks.

Apply advanced knowledge of generative AI technologies in software development.

Guide platform and software engineers in adopting AI tools effectively.

Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps practices to enhance system availability, improve incident response, and drive operational excellence across cloud infrastructures.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
