We are looking for Native-level English (US) contributors with professional voice recording experience, including voice actors, dubbing artists, podcasters, and radio or broadcast hosts, to join the Hydrus Project. This means submitting a short audition, and if selected, completing two supervised recording sessions using your own professional microphone and a quiet space. Important Note: Candidates must have a professional microphone device, meaning a separate, dedicated microphone used specifically for recording or streaming. Examples of acceptable devices include (but are not limited to): RODE: NT-USB Mini, PodMic USB, Wireless GO/Pro Blue: Yeti, Yeti Orb, Bluebird, Baby Bottle Other professional recording microphones of similar quality are also acceptable. Ability to record audio meeting technical specifications: WAV format, 24-bit, 48kHz Not Acceptable Built-in laptop microphones, AirPods, Samsung Buds, headsets, and gaming headsets are not acceptable. Key Responsibilities: Submit two audition recordings: one natural, unscripted sample (~30 seconds) and one scripted customer-service sample (~30 seconds) If selected, complete two supervised recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each Participate in natural conversation, prompted discussions, and scripted customer-service scenarios during sessions Record using your own professional home studio setup Project Details
