Junior Technical Modeler

Responsibilities The selected candidate will get opportunity to work on a variety of structural engineering projects in India and US, including residential high rises, commercial development, aviation facilities, sports facilities, healthcare buildings, and hotels. Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineers and modelers to deliver modeling and drafting/detailing work. The work shall be shared by the project managers and engineers for projects based in Unites States and/or India. Position responsibilities and requirements will include: 3D Model development (required LOD) in Autodesk Revit structure, model maintenance, and ownership Developing high quality Drawings with the required plan-section-details, picking up drawing markups etc. Use of inhouse developed plugins and tools for productivity enhancement Knowledge and understanding of U.S. drafting standards a plus Knowledge of parametric modeling (Dynamo) a plus Qualifications Required qualifications and experience Diploma in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Architecture (Bachelor’s degree in engineering a plus) For Junior Technical Modeler position: 0 – 3 years relevant work experience For Technical Modeler position: 3 – 10 years relevant work experience Excellent hands-on skills with Autodesk Revit structures or similar BIM tools Work experience on US projects would be preferred Overview Walter P Moore, a premier consulting firm, with its headquarters in Houston, Texas, United States, provides a broad range of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients from an extensive network of offices in US, Canada, Mexico, Panama, and India.
