Position Summary Blackbird Health is seeking independently licensed therapists to support our patients during the Fall and Winter. This flexible seasonal opportunity is designed to meet increased patient demand, with a focus on after-school, evening, and weekend virtual therapy availability. As a Fall and Winter Therapist, you will provide evidence-based telehealth therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary pediatric behavioral health team. Tech-Savvy You are comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms, EMR systems, Google Workspace, and other virtual communication tools. Flexible & Patient-Centered You are available to support patients during evening and weekend hours when families need care most. How You'll Make an Impact Deliver High-Quality Therapy Provide individual telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2–26. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's unique needs. Support Family Engagement Partner with families and caregivers to improve understanding, treatment engagement, and long-term outcomes. Drive Clinical Outcomes Monitor patient progress toward established goals. Adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate to support continued growth and success. Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, intake providers, and administrative teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. Maintain Clinical Excellence Complete timely, accurate documentation. Maintain high-quality clinical records and ongoing communication with patients and families.
Required Active, unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state as one of the following: LPC LCSW LMFT PsyD or PhD LSW LMSW Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents Reliable phone, computer, and high-speed internet connection Availability for a minimum of 8 hours per week during core service hours: Monday–Friday after 3:00 PM ET Weekends between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM ET Preferred Minimum of 1 year of telehealth or virtual care experience Why Blackbird Health Immediate referral opportunities Flexible scheduling Fully remote work options Optional hybrid and in-person opportunities in select markets Weekly paid clinical consultation Full credentialing support Administrative support so you can focus on patient care Professional liability insurance coverage No-show and late-cancellation reimbursement Collaborative and supportive clinical culture Compensation $70–$100 per hour , depending on licensure, experience, and market. Potential for Ongoing Employment Providers participating in the Fall and Winter Core Hours Program may be considered for ongoing part-time, full-time, or 1099 opportunities with Blackbird Health following the summer program. Consideration will be based on performance, scheduling availability, organizational needs, and business demand. Salary Range $70 — $100 USD Join us!
