.NET Backend Developer

About the role We need a .NET Backend Developer to build workflow integrations that connect our applications with document intelligence and Azure AI Foundry services. You'll create the services and orchestration that move documents in, call AI capabilities, and return validated results to downstream systems. Responsibilities Design and build .NET (C#) services and APIs that integrate with document intelligence and AI Foundry endpoints Implement workflow orchestration: intake, extraction, validation, exception handling, and hand-off Handle authentication, secrets management, retries, throttling, and error handling for AI service calls Model and persist extraction results, confidence scores, and audit information Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines Instrument services with logging, monitoring, and tracing Collaborate with AI Foundry specialists, data engineers, and front-end developers on contracts and data flow Required qualifications 3-5 + years of backend development with C# and .NET ([version]) Experience building and consuming REST APIs Experience with cloud-hosted services ([Azure]) and asynchronous or queue-based processing Strong understanding of integration patterns and resilient design Experience with SQL and relational data access Nice to have Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure AI Foundry, or similar AI service SDKs Workflow engines or orchestration frameworks (Durable Functions, Logic Apps, or similar) Experience handling human-in-the-loop review flows Requirements Required qualifications 3-5 + years of backend development with C# and .NET ([version]) Experience building and consuming REST APIs Experience with cloud-hosted services ([Azure]) and asynchronous or queue-based processing Strong understanding of integration patterns and resilient design Experience with SQL and relational data access
