The opportunity Senior Associate in the Certification Team (Non-Cards) at NPCI will be responsible for ensuring the compliance, app-testing, and certification of UPI, IMPS, AePS, IMPS, NeTC products as per NPCI standards. Expected to work closely with Payers, Payee, TPAP and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues. Knowledge on API based tools. Job Details: Role Name: Senior Associate Onboarding Year of experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in payment systems, certification, testing, or related domains Location: Chennai Education: BE/BTech Requirements JOB DETAILS: • Collaboration with banks and payment partners, and internal stakeholders ensuring seamless product validation before market deployment. • Execute end-to-end certification testing for NPCI Products and payment applications in-line with NPCI guidelines. • Execute test cases, log defects, and ensure timely resolution. • Maintain certification documentation and provide reports for audits. • Execute test cases, log defects, and ensure timely resolution. • Implement automation as required in the certification process • Manage end to end certification activities across all products • Co-ordination with internal departments for ensuring smooth business operations.Follow and bring in industry best practices for certifications. KEY SKILLS: • Good legal technical skills in drafting, reviewing documentation and carrying out research • Excellent communication, co-ordination and project management skills • Strong knowledge of PCI standards, APIs, and payment terminologies. • Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Postman) and defect life cycle • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment. • Ability to handle multiple certifications simultaneously. • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence • Knowledge (or) maintenance expertise of open stack servers Good to Have: • Good understating of Java, Python, .net and DB’s • Exposure to NPCI’s certification processes or payment scheme testing. Ability to create SOP’s and Technical documentations AI SKILLS: • Identify gaps in the current monitoring process. • Design an AI-enabled monitoring framework for log analysis and notifications. Recommend dashboards for operational visibility. Expected AI Tool Usage • LLM for certification planning. • AI for risk prediction. Excel/Power BI for dashboard prototype or any presentation tool.
