The Role We are looking for an Operations Engineer to support and enhance the reliability and operational efficiency of our high-frequency trading environment. You will monitor production trading systems, troubleshoot operational issues, automate workflows, and work closely with developers and traders to ensure reliable day-to-day trading operations. This is a hands-on role that combines production support, automation, monitoring, and deployment in a fast-paced, production-critical environment. What You’ll Do Monitor day-to-day operations of production trading systems and ensure their reliability and availability. Monitor system health, performance, and operational workflows across the trading environment. Identify system and process issues, investigate causes, and ensure timely resolution. Investigate production alerts, incidents, and system anomalies and coordinate appropriate remediation. Develop Python and Shell/Bash scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve efficiency. Build and improve automation tools that support production trading workflows. Implement, test, deploy, and maintain operational tools and utilities. Support production deployments and help ensure smooth and reliable releases of trading systems. Maintain and enhance monitoring dashboards to improve visibility into production systems. Identify operational bottlenecks and opportunities to improve system reliability and efficiency. Troubleshoot production issues and support rapid resolution in time-sensitive trading environments. Work closely with developers and traders to resolve operational and production bottlenecks. Continuously improve monitoring, automation, and operational processes across the trading environment. Requirements Engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field. Good knowledge of Python and Shell/Bash scripting. Experience working with Linux environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, production-critical environment. Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy is an advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, traders, and other technical teams.
