Location - Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities:

*** Development & Programming:

Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, scripts, and tools to automate processes and improve operational efficiency

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code following best practices and design patterns

Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources

Create and maintain APIs for internal applications and data services

Implement unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability

*** Data Processing & Analytics:

Utilize Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scipy for data manipulation and analysis

Create data visualizations using matplotlib, seaborn, or similar libraries to present findings

Process and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful business insights

Develop and maintain data pipelines for regular reporting and analytics

Work with structured and unstructured data sources to build comprehensive solutions

*** Dashboard & Reporting:

Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI (knowledge is an added advantage)

Create automated reporting solutions that deliver timely insights to stakeholders

Build user-friendly interfaces for data exploration and analysis

Ensure dashboards and reports meet business requirements and security standards

Support and maintain existing reporting solutions

*** Process Automation:

Identify opportunities for process automation across business functions

Develop tools to automate manual and repetitive tasks

Create workflow automation solutions that integrate with existing systems

Optimize existing processes through technological enhancements

Knowledge of Alteryx for workflow automation is an added advantage

*** Collaboration & Business Integration:

Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement integrated solutions

Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively

Provide support and training to end-users on developed applications

Document solutions and create user guides for business applications

*** Project Management & Delivery:

Manage assigned development tasks and meet project deadlines

Track progress and report status to team leads and stakeholders

Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to production problems

Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
