Role Overview The Associate - Growth (GRW) is a highly client-facing, target-driven position focused exclusively on generating new business – identifying prospects, building a pipeline, demonstrating products & services, and closing deals. This role is applicable across the company – with the specific product set, target client segment, and geographic territory defined by the Reporting Head at the time of joining. You will operate across the full B2B sales cycle – from first contact to signed agreement – working closely with your Reporting Head and the relevant teams to ensure a smooth transition of newly acquired clients into the delivery ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Follow up on assigned leads in a timely, structured manner and arrange meetings with prospective B2B clients across the assigned territory / zone. Generate leads independently through field experience, market research, networking, referrals, and observation of industry trends and events. Research the business profile, organizational structure, regulatory environment, and technology adoption priorities of prospective client institutions – and use these insights to build relevant, targeted project strategies. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to identify new prospects and represent APT's products and brand. Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects in the CRM system at all times. Product / Services’ Knowledge & Client Demonstrations Develop thorough, in-depth functional knowledge of all assigned APT products – this is a non-negotiable baseline for effective client engagement. Conduct structured, confident product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients – tailoring the narrative to the specific needs, challenges, and priorities of each institution. Map product features and capabilities to real client problems – positioning APT's solutions as the most relevant and commercially sound choice for the prospect. Prepare supporting documentation – including proposal notes, product summaries, and pitch decks – to support client understanding and deal progression. Deal Progression & Revenue Generation Prepare and submit accurate, timely commercial proposals and quotations to prospective clients. Undertake structured, persistent follow-up to keep deals moving through the sales cycle – addressing objections, resolving queries, and maintaining momentum towards closure. Handle commercial negotiations within approved parameters – with the confidence to hold ground while remaining solution-oriented and client-friendly. Finalize and close business deals – ensuring all documentation is complete and handed over accurately to the concerned teams. Consistently work towards and surpass assigned quarterly and annual business targets – treating the target as the floor, not the ceiling. Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic alliances relevant to the SBU's product portfolio. Provide actionable field intelligence to the concerned team(s) to support product positioning, campaign planning, and content creation. Collaborate actively with the Customer Success, Product Delivery, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client handover after deal closure and a strong initial client experience.
