About Saturday Art Class At Saturday Art Class (SArC), we believe that every child deserves the tools to imagine, express, and grow. SArC is a non-profit organisation that provides Visual Arts and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) education to children from low-income communities across India. Through creative and safe learning spaces, we help children build confidence, self-expression, imagination, empathy, and other essential life skills during their formative years. Since 2017, our programmes have directly impacted over 190,000 students across diverse geographies in India. Our journey has been powered by educators, artists, learners, government partners, and changemakers who believe in the transformative power of art. As we enter our next phase of growth, we want our learning, resources, and approaches to reach far beyond the schools and classrooms we directly work with. We believe that visual arts and social-emotional learning should be accessible to every educator and child, regardless of where they are.
As SArC grows, we want our learning, resources, and approaches to reach far beyond the schools and classrooms we directly work with.
