I What You'll Do Product Strategy & Customer Insight Lead customer discovery, executive briefings, workshops, product deep dives, and advisory conversations, client demos to understand business objectives, workflows, pain points, success measures, and buying criteria. Translate customer and market needs into use cases, value hypotheses, product requirements, roadmap inputs, and prioritization recommendations. Identify recurring market needs, competitive gaps, and product & services opportunities while separating scalable opportunities from one-off requests, with a single-minded focus on increasing the NRR. Analyse different areas of the business, identify opportunities to apply expertise to build stronger solutions. Drive end-to-end feature development, translating customer needs into prioritized requirements and partnering with design and engineering to deliver valuable product improvements. Pre Sales & Client Engagement Partner with Account Executives and Solution Consultants on strategic pursuits, including discovery, tailored demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal content. Explain Retain capabilities, product value, roadmap themes, trade-offs, dependencies, and expected outcomes to business, technical, and executive audiences. Act as a trusted product expert in customer conversations and help create confidence in the solution, implementation approach, and path to value. Support customer escalations and complex solution discussions by aligning customer needs, product capabilities, feasibility, and commitments. Product & Go to Market Enablement Create reusable demo storylines, use-case maps, value narratives, solution briefs, competitive insights, workshop playbooks, and customer-facing product materials. Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to strengthen positioning, messaging, field readiness, launch communications, and competitive differentiation. Represent Retain in customer webinars, industry events, advisory programs, and executive briefings. Business Outcomes & Cross Functional Execution Partner with Retain leadership to improve bookings, retention, adoption, expansion, customer value, and margin through better product and customer decisions. Provide structured voice-of-customer feedback to Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support. Ensure clear handoffs from pre-sales to implementation and customer success, including use cases, success measures, product commitments, risks, and dependencies. Track customer and commercial signals and use them to recommend improvements to product priorities, enablement, adoption, and customer experience. What You'll Bring What You Bring 8–10 years of experience in product management, solution consulting, presales, enterprise consulting, implementation consulting, preferably in the PPM domain. Experience with complex enterprise software, ideally in portfolio management, work management, resource management, transformation, or adjacent domains. Strong customer discovery, product judgement, executive communication, storytelling, workshop facilitation, and product demonstration skills. Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into clear problems, use cases, requirements, decisions, and measurable outcomes. Experience partnering with Sales, Solution Consulting, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services in a matrix organization. Commercial awareness and understanding of how product decisions influence bookings, adoption, retention, expansion, and margin. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; relevant product, Agile, consulting, or domain certifications are a plus. Success Measures Success in this role will be measured primarily by its impact on Net Revenue Retention (NRR), through features that strengthen customer adoption, retention, and expansion. Influence on strategic opportunity progression, product or technical wins, and quality of customer commitments. Quality and reuse of discovery, solution, demonstration, value, and enablement assets. Speed and quality of the customer-insight-to-product-feedback loop. Improved adoption, retention, expansion, customer value, and pre-sales-to-delivery handoffs. Evidence that customer and market insights improve Retain product priorities and P&L outcomes.
