Wintel Administrator Location: SMILES 1, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Years of Experience: 8-10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Wintel Administrator with 8-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Wintel Administration, demonstrating a strong ability to manage and support Windows-based systems and applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure.
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS services. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and upgrades. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Wintel Administration, including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019. Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or similar languages. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds). Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of relevant experience in Wintel Administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
