Software Engineer (Frontend)

The Role We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help shape the face of Simbian's product. You will work closely with design, product, and backend engineers to build the interfaces through which security teams interact with our AI agents. The work is technically demanding and visually consequential: you will be building dashboards, real-time alert workflows, and investigation UIs that security analysts rely on under pressure. What You Will Do Own and evolve core product surfaces: dashboards, alert queues, investigation flows, and agent activity timelines Build responsive, accessible, high-performance UIs using ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, and ShadCN component primitives Architect reusable component libraries and design systems that scale with the product Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts and integrate real-time data (WebSocket's, polling, streaming) Lead frontend technical decisions, from state management patterns to performance optimization strategies Participate in design reviews and push back when something is not implementable cleanly Requirements What We Are Looking For 1 to 3 years of professional frontend engineering experience Deep expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript; you write type safe code by default Strong command of ReactJS, including hooks, context, and component design patterns Handson experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (ShadCN or similar) Solid understanding of HTML semantics and CSS layout (flexbox, grid, responsive design) Ability to translate complex workflows and data heavy UIs into clean, intuitive interfaces Experience working in fastmoving, product focused environments where you ship often and iterate quickly Strong communication skills and comfort working cross functionally Nice to Have Experience building security tooling, SOC platforms, or enterprise SaaS dashboards Familiarity with real-time data rendering (WebSockets, server sent events) Exposure to data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3, or similar) Experience setting up or contributing to a design system from scratch Prior work at an early-stage startup and excellent pedigree Benefits Why Simbian?
