Pre-Sales - Business Development Officer

We are seeking a fresher with a Biotech or Pharmaceutical background to join our Pre-Sales and Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the CDMO/PD sector, working alongside experienced professionals to identify and develop business opportunities whilst building your expertise in drug development and laboratory services.

Primary Responsibilities

Support pre-sales and business development initiatives within the CDMO/PD sector, assisting in identifying and qualifying business opportunities

Engage with Research Scientists and key stakeholders in academia and the private pharmaceutical industry to understand their requirements and contribute to developing tailored solutions

Collaborate across organisational levels to support decision-making and advance business objectives

Assist in managing financial aspects of pre-sales activities, including budgeting support and ROI analysis for business development initiatives

Support the building and maintenance of strategic relationships with prospective clients in the CRO, CDMO, and pharmaceutical industries

Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to identify emerging opportunities within the Life Sciences sector

Contribute to the preparation and presentation of business proposals and presentations to senior stakeholders and potential clients

Support the development of go-to-market strategies for new services and offerings in drug development and laboratory services

Required Competencies

Recent graduate or fresher with a background in Biotech, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related Life Sciences discipline

Foundational understanding of drug development, testing, and laboratory service delivery

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across organisational levels

Enthusiasm and motivation to develop business acumen and drive growth in the Life Sciences sector

Willingness to learn and develop expertise in CDMO/PD business initiatives
