Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

The QA Specialist ensures software quality through systematic testing, audits, and process improvements. Candidates with experience in Freight Forwarding or Accounting domains are preferred for aligning product quality with business needs. Key Responsibilities Define and execute QA strategies, test plans and test cases for web/cloud APIs and UI components. Design, maintain and run manual and automated test suites; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and acceptance testing; verify releases before deployment. Create and maintain QA documentation: checklists, SOPs, audit logs, test reports and release notes. Track, triage and report defects; work with developers to reproduce, prioritize and drive root-cause resolution. Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs; provide regular quality dashboards and improvement recommendations. Support internal and external audits; prepare accreditation and compliance documentation. Collaborate with product, engineering, support and sales to ensure requirements are testable and met. Ensure domain-specific validations for Freight Forwarding workflows and Accounting modules such as billing, invoicing, and reconciliation. Develop training materials; mentor peers on QA best practices and tooling. Champion continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling and test automation. Accounting domain background is a Plus Experience : 1 to 3 years in a similar Quality Assurance role. Qualification & Skills : Knowledge of quality assurance standards Working knowledge of the tools and methodologies used Exposure to Freight Forwarding operations, logistics systems, or Accounting workflows preferred. Good numeracy skills and analytical understanding of statistics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Leadership and Managerial skills to organize and delegate work Strong eye for detail Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it Comfortable with working on computers and technology platforms Familiar with software like Microsoft Suite Work with professionalism and integrity Excellent data collection and analysis skills Meticulous and diligent attributes Great customer focus and understanding Good team player with ability to work in a team with no or little supervision Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods at a time Familiarity with agile business practices Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude Other Benefit: Life/Health/Accident insurance Work Location : Sarjapur Main Road, Bengaluru
