IVD sales

Sales & revenue

• Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (value and volume) for the ELISA and rapid kit range within the territory.
• Drive both primary sales (to distributors) and secondary sales (distributor-to-end-customer off-take), monitoring stock movement to prevent dead inventory and channel loading.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales funnel; forecast monthly demand accurately for production and supply planning.

Channel / distributor management

• Identify, evaluate, appoint, and onboard distributors and dealers to achieve target distribution width and depth across the territory.
• Manage channel-partner relationships – set targets, review performance, ensure timely order placement, and resolve service issues.
• Track outstanding receivables and ensure collections are within agreed credit terms; flag overdue accounts promptly.

Direct & institutional sales

• Develop relationships with key end-customers – diagnostic laboratories, hospital labs, blood banks, veterinary/food-testing labs, and research institutions.
• Drive product demonstrations, sample evaluations, and trials to convert prospects and displace competing imported / domestic kits.
• Participate in and support tenders, rate contracts, and institutional procurement processes within the territory.

Market & product

• Gather and report market intelligence – competitor pricing, product launches, customer feedback, and platform-migration trends – to the regional manager.
• Provide first-line technical product guidance to customers; coordinate with the scientific / application team for detailed support and complaint resolution.
• Support new product introductions in the territory with launch plans, customer education, and early adopter targeting.

Reporting & compliance

• Maintain daily call reports, CRM/sales records, and submit timely sales, collection, and forecast reports.
• Ensure all sales activity complies with CDSCO and applicable regulatory norms for IVD and rapid test kits, including cold-chain and labelling requirements where relevant.
