What can you expect?

The successful applicant will be expected to take full ownership of all Manual and Automation Testing deliverables, follow all test practice guidelines, and create new automation test pack by using standard framework (company’s)

Candidate will have to take full knowledge of the application, productive in executing manual test packs for releases, follow current test practice in first 30 days. In 60 days understand the overall project test practice and programs, In 90 days understand overall organization test practice and programs.

We will count on you to:

6 to 8 years’ experience in the IT industry Demonstrable experience of working on successful manual and functional automation test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects

Expertise in manual, automation (Playwright with JavaScript) and API testing

Estimate the work allocated on test activities and create, modify and maintain TC for functional and regression test suites

Participate in design discussions for new functionalities & Coordinate with stakeholders as and when needed to understand requirements

Investigate technical problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.

Communicate effectively with team members and all the stakeholders of the project

Good reporting skills to concerned stakeholders

Work with Test Manager/ Test Leads to improve ROI of overall functional test

To manage and work in Agile delivery model

Compliance to CMMi level 5 in test delivery

Closely working with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers and Development team members on requirements, clarifications, issues to sort out the bottlenecks in quality deliverables on time

Helping in preparing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and support for UAT execution.

Prepare and provide the Test Reports at the end of Release Cycle.

Act as a subject matter expert in the functionality assigned for the project

Maintains security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents

Responsibility on Quality of the products including Performance and Security

Builds knowledge on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

Experience in Automation (Playwright with JavaScript) and API testing

Exposure to test services between integrated systems

Good understanding of manual test process and defect management

Good understanding of agile life cycle (end to end)

Demonstrates the ability to analyse a problem

Able to methodically produce the steps which exhibit bugs in the application and be able to reproduce and communicate these steps effectively

Shows initiative in gaining theoretical and practical knowledge in software testing

Excellent Writing and Communication skills

Ability to engage in multiple initiatives / implementations simultaneously.

Nice to have Performance and Security testing experience

Insurance Domain experience

ISTQB certification
