DTP Operator (Books Designing) at Meerut (UP)

Power Within Psychology is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled DTP Operator / Book Designing Executive to join our Publication and Academic Content Team at the Meerut Headquarters. The selected candidate will be responsible for the designing, formatting, layout creation, and final preparation of academic books and educational materials for Psychology entrance examinations and related educational programs. The role requires strong command over page designing software, typography, formatting standards, and print-ready file preparation. Key Responsibilities Design and format academic books, notes, mock tests, and study materials Create professional layouts for: Competitive exam books PDFs and eBooks Workbooks and assignments Academic book interiors Ensure proper typography, alignment, spacing, and page consistency Prepare print-ready files for publication and production Coordinate with content teams, typing staff, and publication department Insert tables, diagrams, charts, images, and academic formatting elements accurately Maintain version control and organize publication files systematically Support cover alignment and publishing workflow when required Requirements Technical Skills Proficiency in: Adobe InDesign CorelDRAW Adobe Photoshop MS Word formatting PDF editing tools Understanding of: Book layout standards Print dimensions and margins Typography and page composition Experience Prior experience in book designing, publication work, or DTP operations preferred Experience with educational or academic publications will be an added advantage Benefits Exposure to competitive exam publishing industry Opportunity to work on large-scale academic publication projects Creative and professional work environment Skill development and long-term growth opportunities Performance-based increments and recognition
