Job Description – Application Engineer – Gas Treating

Reports to: Proposals Manager

Job Description

To accurately develop technical proposal and commercial estimate for process equipment and other items of process plants particularly for gas treating Business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creating comprehensive engineering proposals tailored to client needs

Understand project requirements, interpret specifications, and contribute technical expertise to the proposal.

Reviewing project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals

Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams

Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns

Ensuring proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations

Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering

Min 3-5 of professional experience in design of equipment for the Chemical, Process Industries

Hands on experience of chemical / process design and simulation programs like Hysys, ProMax Etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies

Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
