Functional Consultant- Commercial Loan Origination

What you will be doing

Prioritize project initiatives

Articulate user stories in a manner clearly understandable to project teams.

Manage backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.

Establish user story acceptance criteria, accept user stories, refines stories with client and project teams.

Review and provide feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.

Monitor the project progress and provide updates to stakeholders as requested.

Lead client discussions, requirement gatherings and review meetings.

Interact with product owners and product managers to define/translate requirements and modifications into product designs

Play a pivotal role in leading functional teams and various implementation projects.

Perform client requirements gathering workshops, put together project plans, perform data mapping /requirements workshops, assist clients in performing data validation and reconciliation testing, system integration testing and UAT

Assist PS/Pre-sales in preparing and delivering product presentations and demos to clients

Support sales organization and process with specific market/domain expertise and product knowledge

Research client needs, analyzing trends and best practices and creating detailed program specifications

Gain a thorough understanding of product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.

Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.

Maintain and develop knowledge of Lending domain requirements and current regulations that apply to our current and prospective clients.

What you will bring

At least 10 plus years of experience in project implementations, requirement gatherings, detailed knowledge and expertise on Lending (Commercial, Retail, Auto Finance, Asset Finance) domain with strong track record of progressive experience and responsibility.

Experience with project implementation principles and methodologies; experience in software development lifecycle, release management and change management.

Experience with agile delivery approaches including Kanban, SCRUM, and SAFe.

Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems as well as application development.

Acumen in business, technology, and analytical capabilities.

Strong written & verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a variety of levels within the organization.

Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced and challenging environment.

Hands-on experience with Jira.

Positive team-oriented attitude.
