Swimming Teacher

Udaya Public School is looking for One experienced and responsible Swimming Teachers (1 Male). The selected teachers will train students in a safe environment as part of the school's swimming programme, helping them build water confidence, technique and overall fitness. Key Responsibilities: Teach swimming to students of different age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced Coach proper technique in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly Ensure student safety at all times and supervise every session closely Enforce water safety rules, hygiene and pool discipline Prepare swimming schedules and lesson plans Train interested students for inter-school and other sports competitions Maintain records of student progress Assist school administration with pool and equipment upkeep Support school sports days and annual events Requirements Graduate degree (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed or a degree/diploma in Physical Education preferred) Swimming coaching certification (such as NIS or a certificate from a recognised institute) Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching swimming to children in a school or academy Knowledge of life-saving skills, First Aid and CPR Strong command of all major swimming strokes Patience and good communication skills with children Good character and a strong sense of responsibility, as the role involves working with minors Freshers with valid certification may also apply Benefits Competitive salary based on qualification and experience Supportive and positive school environment Leave and holidays as per school policy Opportunities for professional growth and training Chance to coach students for sports events and competitions Timely salary payment
