Specialist, Technical Project and Program Management-Project Specialist- Hyderabad

We are seeking a Project Specialist Senior Analyst to support program and project management activities across technology and business transformation projects. In this role, you will help drive project setup, execution, reporting, and governance by applying Deloitte methods, standards, tools, and leading practices. You will work closely with engagement teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones to support successful delivery.

Work you'll do

As a Project Specialist Senior Analyst on the Member Firm team, you will be responsible for...

Creating program and project plans in Microsoft Project using Deloitte methods and standards

Delivering project management reporting, schedules, health indicators, and resource leveling for large projects and programs

Creating and managing project artifacts, including status reports, risk metrics, and project forecast analytics

Supporting project team training on Deloitte methods, tools, and delivery standards, and leading internal training sessions as needed

Providing recommendations to improve adoption and use of project management methods and enabling tools while supporting quality and risk management activities

The team

This team is a client facing team specializing in Program and Project Management working across technology and business transformation projects. The team collaborates with other practices in the business to achieve successful set up and execution of Projects by leveraging best practices, standards, methods and tools to promote high impact value.

The leadership team is located in Toronto with team members residing across USI serving clients across various time zones.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2 – 11 PM IST or as needed

Required:

Bachelor’s degree

3-6 years of project management and implementation experience in waterfall or agile delivery

2-3 years of delivery experience in consulting

Experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

Experience creating project plans, schedules, status reporting, risk metrics, and project forecasts

Knowledge of program and project management disciplines, including risk management and quality management practices

Experience supporting business transformation or technology enablement project delivery

Preferred:

Project Management certification or progress toward certification, including Project Management Professional, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Manager, or similar credentials

Experience with agile frameworks and agile techniques, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospectives

Experience communicating project status to stakeholders at multiple levels

Experience supporting technology implementation projects and identifying implementation risks

Experience leading internal training on project management methods and tools

Experience supporting quality and risk management activities
