We are seeking a Sr. Associate (Lead AWS Engineer) to join our Platform Engineering team, responsible for building and operating a reliable, scalable AWS platform. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in troubleshooting core AWS services, driving automation-first operations, and improving platform reliability. You will lead incident management efforts, reduce MTTR through automation and observability, and partner with global stakeholders during US office hours. This is a highly ownership-driven role requiring technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement of platform engineering practices. Job Description

Lead end-to-end incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution acrossEC2, S3, SSM, IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Function, SCPs, SSO, VPC,RDS, AWS AI Services, and ECS environments

Design and implement platform reliability improvements through automation, monitoring, and architectural optimizations

Build and maintain automation solutions (Python/Powershell) to eliminate manual tasks and enable self-healing workflows

Enforce AWS security best practices including IAM least privilege, credential hygiene, and periodic access reviews

Leverage AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for fleet management, patching, remote execution, and automation

Manage and govern S3 storage including lifecycle policies, encryption, access controls, and data protection standards

Collaborate closely with US-based stakeholders during overlapping business hours for operations and escalations

Participate in and lead on-call rotations , handling P1/P2 incidents and ensuring timely resolution

Mentor junior engineers, review solutions, and drive best practices in platform engineering and operations

Continuously identify and deliver improvements that increase deployment success rate, platform stability, and operational efficiency

Preferences:

6–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering, with strong AWS exposure

Proven hands-on troubleshooting expertise across EC2, S3, SSM, IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Function, SCPs, SSO, VPC, RDS, AWS AIServices

Mandatory: Strong automation experience (Python, Terraform/CloudFormation)

Solid understanding of IAM, security best practices, and cloud governance

Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch or equivalent logging/monitoring platforms)

Strong collaboration skills, especially working with distributed/global teams
