Job Description Summary
The role is responsible for ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of all plant IT systems. The IT System Administrator provides technical support, manages infrastructure, leads local IT projects, and ensures compliance with DAUCH Group IT standards.
This is a highly hands-on manufacturing IT role supporting the systems that keep production running. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Plex, Ignition, production monitoring systems, industrial networks, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate understands both IT and manufacturing operations and can quickly resolve issues that impact production uptime.
Job Description:
Administer and maintain servers, client devices, printers, and storage systems
Monitor, support, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and network components
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for office and production employees
Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system
Lead or participate in IT implementation and optimization projects
Procure, install, configure, and deploy hardware and software
Support manufacturing and production-related IT systems
Coordinate with external IT service providers and corporate IT teams
Ensure adherence to DAUCH IT policies, standards, and security requirements
Required Skills and Education
Required Skills
Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or similar IT qualification
Relevant hands-on IT administration experience
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Team-oriented approach and strong collaboration skills
Technical Skills
Administration of Windows client operating systems
Experience with virtual server environments and storage systems
Knowledge of SQL databases; Oracle experience preferred
Understanding of network topologies and network infrastructure
Experience supporting hardware, software, and manufacturing environments
