Job Description: Job Description location :- Pune Rate :- 100K/M Job Description â Windows Imaging Engineer Position Windows Imaging & Endpoint Deployment Engineer Experience 5-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Windows Imaging Engineer responsible for enterprise desktop lifecycle management, OS deployment, image management, endpoint provisioning, and automation. The candidate will support multiple endpoint management technologies including SCCM, PDQ SmartDeploy, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Autopilot. Key Responsibilities Operating System Deployment Design, maintain and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 imaging solutions. Build and manage gold images for enterprise endpoints. Create, modify and maintain SCCM Task Sequences. Manage driver packages and hardware model onboarding. Support OS refresh and migration projects. Endpoint Management Manage device deployment using: o SCCM (MECM) o PDQ SmartDeploy o PDQ Connect o Microsoft Intune o Windows Autopilot Configure endpoint policies and deployment standards. Image Lifecycle Management Create and update enterprise images. Validate image quality prior to production rollout. Support quarterly image refresh cycles. Manage image testing and deployment governance. Application Integration Integrate applications into deployment task sequences. Package applications using PowerShell, MSI and EXE installers. Coordinate with Application Packaging teams. Infrastructure Support Manage Distribution Points. Support Boundary Groups and Content Distribution. Troubleshoot PXE boot issues. Support CMG and cloud-based endpoint deployments. Work with certificate-based deployment infrastructure. Automation & Scripting PowerShell scripting. Deployment automation. Image customization automation. Driver automation and BIOS update processes. Troubleshooting Task Sequence failures. Driver injection issues. OS deployment failures. PXE and boot media issues. Windows 11 upgrade and migration problems. Endpoint provisioning issues. Required Skills Mandatory SCCM / MECM OSD Windows 10 & Windows 11 Imaging Task Sequence Design Distribution Points Management Driver Management PowerShell Scripting Windows Autopilot Microsoft Intune Endpoint Troubleshooting Preferred PDQ SmartDeploy PDQ Connect Patch My PC WSUS CMG Azure AD / Entra ID MDT (knowledge only) Ivanti / LANDesk exposure Soft Skills KT and Documentation creation Process Improvement Incident and Problem Management ͏ Areas of responsibility Triaging and resolution of tickets-"Perform initial triage for high priority incident tickets (P2 tickets) which may have an impact across one or more processes and resolve priority incident (P3) tickets within defined SLAs. Create log of incidents and Document observations and related root causes, to support in evaluation of mitigation measures. " Resolution of service Requests-Fulfil software/hardware/network service requests within agreed timeline, ensuring timely completion and adherence to SLAs while maintaining quality and accuracy in request handling. SLA Monitoring-Monitor SLA timelines for entire lifecycle of high priority incident tickets (P2 tickets). Escalate as needed and participate in weekly or monthly service review meetings with clients and internal teams. Change request execution-"Create change requests as per the priority of the incident tickets in adherence with the defined guidelines. Present changes for approval with rollback plans in change approval meetings. Execute approved changes and document post-implementation outcomes." Incident Analysis-"Analyse nature of incidents to support root cause analysis and related service improvement plans. Contribute towards development of mitigation action to reduce repeat incidents, by identifying patterns of issues noted." ͏ ͏ ͏ Mandatory Skills: Desktop Imaging
