What You’ll Be Doing Lead the architecture and development of scalable cybersecurity integrations and enterprise solutions. Define technical direction, architecture standards, and implementation strategies for complex projects. Design reliable APIs, data pipelines, distributed systems, and automated security workflows. Research unfamiliar security platforms and rapidly build a strong understanding of their architecture, APIs, and use cases. Partner directly with customers to understand technical requirements and design effective solutions. Translate business and customer needs into clear technical plans, timelines, and deliverables. Guide engineers through architecture decisions, implementation challenges, code reviews, and technical trade-offs. Step in to resolve complex technical, performance, scalability, or integration issues. Improve engineering practices, documentation, system quality, and knowledge sharing. Proactively identify delivery risks, requirement changes, and technical dependencies that may affect project timelines. What We’re Looking For We would love to meet someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong engineering leadership and customer-facing skills. You think holistically about architecture, enjoy solving complex and ambiguous problems, and can guide both customers and engineering teams toward successful outcomes. You are comfortable setting technical direction while remaining close enough to the implementation to provide practical guidance when the team needs it. Must-Have Skills Strong and broad programming experience across multiple languages and technology stacks. Experience with technologies such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Angular, React, C#, C++, or comparable tools. Ability to select the most appropriate language, framework, or architecture for each project rather than relying on a single preferred stack. Ability to research rapidly and become familiar with new cybersecurity platforms, APIs, and technical ecosystems. Proven experience designing and leading the development of scalable systems, APIs, distributed services, and integrations. Demonstrated success mentoring, coaching, and guiding engineering teams. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex and distributed environments. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to establish clear timelines, priorities, and deliverables. Comfort working directly with customers to understand requirements, manage expectations, and design effective solutions. Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong awareness of security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability best practices. Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Bonus Points If You Have designed, built, or led integrations with enterprise cybersecurity platforms. Have experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, threat-intelligence, or incident-response technologies. Enjoy solving hacker-mindset problems and breaking down complex challenges into elegant, practical solutions. Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture. Have deployed and supported scalable applications in production cloud environments. Understand event-driven systems, distributed architecture, queues, webhooks, and high-volume data processing. Contribute to open-source projects or regularly share technical insights with the broader engineering community. Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve architecture research, development, testing, debugging, or documentation.
