Automation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead and drive enterprise-wide test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining automation strategies, managing automation teams, establishing best practices, improving test efficiency, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.

Define and execute the organization's automation testing strategy.

Lead, mentor, and manage automation engineers across multiple projects.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

Drive automation adoption across web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.

Establish automation standards, governance, and best practices.

Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business teams.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor automation coverage, execution trends, and quality metrics.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and test optimization.

Perform effort estimation, resource planning, and project tracking.

Provide regular status reports and quality dashboards to leadership.

Support release readiness and quality sign-off activities.

Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.

5+ years of experience leading automation teams.

Strong experience in designing enterprise automation frameworks.

Hands-on expertise in web, API, mobile, and UI automation.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI-driven testing tools and automation platforms.

Certification in Agile, Scrum, ISTQB, or Automation Testing.

Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.

Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Banking, or Healthcare domains.
