Senior Financial Analyst

Position Description: Key responsibilities include preparation of mutual fund regulatory filings. Additionally, provide support to the manager and the team in completing projects on time and in knowledge transfer and training. Attend client calls, interact with clients on a regular basis to ensure smooth operations. Carry out quality checks and ensure the deliverables meet client expectations. Prepare work instruction manuals and training modules for the teams. Essential Qualifications: B.COM / M.COM / MBA Finance or any other degree in related field Technical Qualifications / Experience: Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, XML Coding know-how and experience in FundSuite SX. Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in the financial services industry. Exposure to preparation of regulatory filings will be preferred Organization Structure: Report to Team Manager Work Schedule / Shift: Should be flexible to work in shifts and extend shifts per business requirement Current Shift Timings: Afternoon (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM) Process & People Related: Primary point of contact for the clients for day to day activities Participate in client calls and provide training to the team members Preparing the annual and semi-annual reports assigned and carrying out quality checks of other team members and new associates. Update error log with appropriate comments for errors identified by the client Create and maintain quality culture. Maintain high level of quality (99% and above) and take necessary steps to improve quality Have good working relationship with the team and drive for productivity, quality and TAT Self Development: Work with team members to improve existing process Be focused on continually improving technical as well as soft skills Participate in team activities Process & People Related: Should have a good knowledge on basic accounting principles Strong analytical skills Superior written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency for deadlines.
